Privacy and safety come first
We built Bot Cadets to collect as little about your child as possible. Here is exactly how it works.
No live chatbot
Everything Bit says is written ahead of time by our team. Kids never type into a real AI, and nothing they do is sent to an AI service.
No kid emails, names, or photos
Your child gets a nickname and an avatar they pick. We do not ask for their email, real name, photo, voice, or location, and there is no open chat.
Only parents create accounts
You sign up with your email, give consent, and set up your child's profile. Kids cannot create accounts on their own.
No ads, and we never sell data
There are no ads, no ad tracking, and no third-party analytics. We do not sell or share your child's information. We only use the cookies needed to keep you logged in.
Delete anytime
In Settings you can view, download, or delete your child's data or your whole account whenever you want. Deleted data is removed within 30 days.
Everything we keep about your child
- Nickname
- Shown on the profile picker so your child can find their profile. We suggest something that isn’t their real name.
- Avatar choice
- One of our robot pictures. Kids never upload photos.
- Grade band
- So we show the right version of the course.
- Lesson progress and skill checks
- So your child can pick up where they left off and you can see what they learned.
- Final-project text
- The short part your child writes in the final project, shown only in your dashboard.
What we never collect
- Your child’s email address or phone number
- Their real or full name
- Photos, video, or voice recordings
- Location
- Open chat with other people or with an AI
- Advertising IDs or tracking cookies
Your controls
In Settings you can download everything we have about your family, delete a child’s profile, withdraw permission (which deletes your child’s data), or delete your whole account. Deletion from our systems finishes within 30 days.
